Jessica Hische & Friends
JH&F is a curated art, books and "beautiful useful things" shop in Downtown Oakland and the grown-up sister shop to Drawling. Everything in the shop has to have both utility and beauty—like sturdy Japanese toolboxes, gorgeous Italian scissors, real slate chalkboards, and other useful goods from small boutique makers all over the world. The shop is intentionally designed for easy thoughtful gifting to any creative or aspiring creative in your life. Created by lettering artist Jessica Hische, the shop also carries her letterpress and risograph prints, lasercut artwork, stationery, and books. Come by during her posted “office hours” for a personalized copy of one of her New York Times best-selling children's books!
